Curriculum for Children's Depot Classes

Children's Depot employs a corporate curriculum director and implements a curriculum for infants through Pre-school and beyond in all our centers. Research shows that children learn best when skills and concepts are integrated into themes. The Children's Depot curriculum incorporates the introduction of skills into meaningful activities within each theme.

As a parent, what can you expect?

  • Learning experiences that are age-appropriate for your child. Each curriculum contains age-specific activities that promote creativity, family involvment, and the development of the whole child. Daily experiences capture and support the learning of important skills and concepts.
  • Fun and meaningful learning activities. As your child matures and moves to the next classroom, he or she encounters a higher level of learning that challenges growth in his or her abilities while allowing children to still have fun! Skills range from learning basic colors with younger children to exploring the alphabet with older, pre-school children.
  • Information about what your child is learning. Throughout the each month, your child will bring home materials to keep you up-to-date on what he or she is learning at school. Creative art projects, such as painting pictures, collages, and child-created books, are just a few of the items your child may enjoy creating. Be sure to spend time talking with your child about what he or she is learning at school. You'll be amazed to discover how much your child is learning through the Children's Depot curriculum!
  • Curriculum that is up-to-date on the latest in early childhood education. The Children's Depot curriculum is developed by a team of early childhood professionals. Our team spends a tremendous amount of time studying articles and reports to offer your child and his or her teachers the latest and greatest in early childhood education.
  • Children's Depot strives to follow School District 11 and 20 requirements for Kindergarten entrance and incorporates these guidelines into our curriculum.

We are aware that each child learns differently— both intellectually and emotionally— and may not grasp all areas of education at the same rate. We do our best to expose them to the best learning environment possible.
